My work is a product of my experience within the world of information technology as well as my considerable experience with meditation and mindfulness. The main question I explore in my paintings has to do with how we balance our connection to the digital world with our connection to our inner selves. I illustrate this by abstracting both digital as well as real world imagery through the use of similar color palettes and layering techniques. In so doing, I attempt to show how these two very different aspects of our lives coexist and continually influence us. Ultimately, my work is intended to take us on contemplative journeys of sorts by highlighting relationships between the two realms, thereby allowing us to consider states of awareness that I believe are integral to our overall sense of wellbeing.

I am a visual artist whose paintings, photography, and mixed media works explore how our thoughts impact our reality and lead us to a state of connectedness or separation.
My work is influenced by my initial career in information technology, and my 20 + years of practicing mindfulness, meditation and classical ballet.
My art has been presented in solo and group exhibits in North Carolina, New York, and is held in various private collections internationally. I have also developed a workshop called “Creative Revival” where I taught participants how to access inner stillness and unleash their creative energy.
